What is the I-797 Form in the USCIS?

Persons who will apply for a US Family Visit Visa must apply to the US Consulate with a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip. The passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and must contain at least 2 blank pages for visa printing.
